Flu Shots

The Centers for Disease Control recommends that everyone 6 months of age and older can benefit from annual influenza vaccination.

If you anticipate getting a flu shot and you currently carry GreenState health insurance, please keep the following cost factors in mind:

• Under the ACA (Affordable Care Act) flu shots at both in-network pharmacies and those administered by in-network providers in an office or clinic setting will be covered at 100%.

• There are no special instructions needed to receive the flu shot and have it covered at 100%.  Just be sure you are visiting an in-network provider and present them with your ID card to have the cost processed through insurance.

• If you see one of the 1% of physicians that are considered out-of-network providers, deductible applies.

Once again in 2021, flu shots will be offered onsite at the Financial Center (east cafe) on Thursday, October 21st, from 8:00am to 12:00pm for those that work at or live near the Financial Center.  Sign-up information will be sent to Financial Center staff via email.  For those that sign-up, individual consent forms must be completed for each family member that may be receiving the shot:
