Flu Shots

The Centers for Disease Control recommends that everyone 6 months of age and older can benefit from annual influenza vaccination.

If you anticipate getting a flu shot and you currently carry GreenState health insurance, please keep the following cost factors in mind:

Under the ACA (Affordable Care Act) flu shots at both in-network pharmacies and those administered by in-network providers in an office or clinic setting will be covered at 100%.
There are no special instructions needed to receive the flu shot and have it covered at 100%. Just be sure you are visiting an in-network provider and present them with your ID card to have the cost processed through insurance.
If you see one of the 1% of physicians that are considered out-of-network providers, deductible applies.
